Aarsha Yoga Vidya Peetham was established in 2003 and has been running the yoga teacher training course since 2008. Arasha Yoga Vidya Peetham is currently running two intensive one month teacher training programs. ie; 200 Hour Yoga Teacher training course and 300 Hour Yoga teacher training course. Both the Yoga teacher training courses have been internationally accredited by Yoga Alliance USA. These teacher training courses are handled by Indian masters who have more than 10 years of teaching experience. Our training includes Hatha yoga practices, meditation, philosophy, ayurveda etc.

We have been sharing and want to share this ancient yogic wisdom, the science of all sciences to every sincere seeker. Our school has transformed students into inspired teachers through the realization of previously hidden talents and the encouragement to develop their own unique style of teaching. By encouraging our students to teach with grace, wisdom, clarity and above all from the heart, we will inspire you to discover the energy that resonates within you to cultivate a teaching style that reflects your experience and your passion for life and yoga.

Yoga comes from the root of ''YUJ" which means "to unite''; ''to join''. So, yoga is the union of the individual soul with the Absolute. Everyone can realise this union; can gain self-knowledge; if he/she is fully prepared, determined, desirous and the mind is made one-pointed; by doing the practices of asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, shatkarma and meditation. ''Health is wealth. Peace of mind is happiness. Yoga shows you the way''- says Swamy Vishnu Devanandaji. The core principles of yoga are - proper asanas, proper breathing, proper relaxation, proper diet and proper attitude (life style). Those who follow this; for them, yoga is not a set of exercises; it is a ritual; every aspect of life. Such people always think positively, act properly, enjoy happiness and live peacefully. 

A share of the profits of Yoga Vidya Peetham goes towards charity and towards establishing an organic farm in accordance with sound ecological principles for serious yoga practitioners who need proper nutritional food and the right environment to practice.
